Ninad Bondre has held editorial and advisory positions with employers including Springer Nature, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. After obtaining his master’s degree in India, Ninad pursued doctoral research in geology at Miami University (Ohio) and was awarded a PhD in 2006. Since then, Ninad has worked closely with the scientific community in diverse contexts, thereby gaining a deep understanding of the funding, conduct, evaluation, and communication of research. His interests span a wide range of topics including philosophy, geopolitics, and economics, and he has written authoritatively on issues such as climate communication, post-truth, and the Anthropocene.
