Laura Stearns is Publisher at Routledge, an imprint of Taylor & Francis. She is responsible for the Politics, Criminal Justice, and Forensic Science editorial group of 6 editors and 4 editorial assistants, and personally acquires new books in the areas of Public Administration, Public Policy, and Urban Politics. She has worn a variety of hats at Routledge, from overseeing the US monograph publishing program to acquiring books in History, Business and Management, Law, Archaeology and Museum Studies, Classical Studies, Religion, and Library and Information Science. Laura cut her teeth in publishing at Blackwell, and later Wiley, developing textbooks on the Economics and Finance lists. After 10 years in New York City, Laura, her fiancé, and their dog have recently relocated to Maine.
